I have met a lot wonderful people making art and participating in #ds106, but two of them live in Glasgow, Scotland.
Little did I know when I met them, that my daughter would be traveling to Glasgow to attend college. I felt lucky to know two “adults” there and felt better about her heading that way for school.
And then I got to travel to Scotland and meet them in a pub. How nice is that!
This collection of 129 stories has been maintained since a presentation at the 2009 Open Education Conference. Perhaps the best example I can share is the Amazing Unknown Flower story.
I’ve asked people several times since then to share theirs. In this newest SPLOT powered site, you can add your own directly.

So glad you used the Museum of digital life as the background to your story Todd. For me, that project of creating the museum was a story of open that has been a highlight of my archives. It optimises the talent of the educators that came together to share their stories. Also glad that the tech is still holding up to show the work created and lead by Sarah, Kevin, you and me. 🙂 Thinklink was new to me and the idea of a “lab” fit so perfectly with the vision. How wonderful and full of wonder we were to go on to complete it! And meeting you, Kevin and Sarah just made the whole thing perfect.
I hope I find myself in another space like it with you again!
